We tarped a NEW garden at Edison School!! We also did some tilling so we can plant early crops very soon. We intend to do an early Spring planting at First Presbyterian, Project Insight, and Lincoln School gardens.🌷🌱😊

This week we’ve started transplanting tiny (very cold hardy) seedlings started in our mini soil blocks to 2 inch soil blocks that are made and placed in our wooden trays. We love that we don’t use any plastic in this system!

Today we knocked out a lot of organizing and cleaning projects so we are ready to go for this Spring! 💪🍃 Volunteers helped us clean and sort all our wooden stakes, repair, paint, and stack our seedling trays, and organize our tool room and closets.
